DJ Silent Storm, Russian Federation Bombing 2006

We got a homie named Artur, goes by the name of Silent Storm. You'd expect a name like that for an incognito homie on stealth soundbombing missions in the former USSR, but it's no joke. He left after a one year stay in the US to the homeland that is Russia. Before leaving, He managed to grab a big stash of dubs and releases from N2O as well... The rest is history!

Several months back, We did a feature on our friend and He's back and with a new mix, Recorded live at SV2 Club, Feb. 2006... Expect some of the hardest bangers out right now, including General Malice's Beat Ya At Your Own Game feat. MC Ambussh, from the new "Final Takeover" album that drops next week. This mix also has that new US JUNGLE 001 tune that you can buy directly from Freeburning and features alot of dnb madness. Check the new dubs from the Russian Jungle kru, Xpander, B Soul and Protech amongst others. Big ups Artur for holding down the Digital Bombing Sound all the way in the motherland.

Diggin' In The Crates....

Here's an incredible file submitted by DJ Jepi outta Manchester UK. He used to be down with Skratchlab.com alongside Audio1, Nicdgreek and Gino aka G-Teknikal (Old Skool DB crew). Jepi has been rockin the turntables since 1982 and continues to this day, breaking out the Hiphop and is one of the biggest Hiphop breaks selectors out his way. Check this dope mix out, as he layers and orquestrates tons of Hiphop breaks back to back. If your into Cut Chemist and/or DJ Shadow's Brainfreeze styles, This ones for you.

Diamond Geezer is our Soldier reppin' the N20 sound in the UK. A cat who got his start in the hardcore/jungle scene in 1993 and hasnt looked back. He's been heard rockin the N20 sounds on Serious FM in deepest darkest Southwest London, further educating the UK massive on how its done across the pond. His first ever vinyl release, "Swallow Diss Amen" on Freeburning Records, will drop in several weeks. The anticipation builds. Check out his selection of the top Dojo material and pick up the wax when it drops over at the Freeburning Shop.

Krumbz - Lick Shot Vol. 2 (DB Version)

Placing in the Digital Bombing mix battle is a tough thing to do. The competition is tough and the judging is even tougher. Imagine a bunch of excellent dj's judging themselves? And you know what..... it's better to not even think of voting for yourself, just to be real like that, we all know we have skilla's but....... Anyway, peep Krumbz' file here cuz it's a real bad ass mix with some DB edits in there. The 2nd edition of the DB mix battle is on now, so there will be some new posts of massive audio warfare soon. The haters wish they could mix this tight.

The lost Q-Bert File... DJ Shadow's classics mixed!

How is it that the new and the old are so different. You all need to peep this old skool shit from DJ Shadow. That was the bomb shit and the days when I could listen to his stuff over and over. We will see what Shadow comes with next. I'm still hoping. Hear Q-Bert mix it all up on the Mo Wax file.

DJ Craze mixes Adam F's Drum and Bass Warfare

This is the worst turntablist mix cd we have ever heard. Luckily I got it free from the digital bombing network that keeps me in tune to what infiltrators are trying to encroach on the trademark N2O empire. Of course this time again it is Craze doing a scratchy shallow mix of Adam F's hip hop/dnb remixes. How the hell can you go wrong? I almost didn't get through encoding this cheese. Listen to this and you will see why craze is just skipping from any scene he can collect another paycheck from. What's next garage or 2-step? Gee, "I think I'll start a jungle turntablism hip hop label and sign Capital J....." more quotes from the pinche. No huge diss on Adam F, he is just trying his best but with all those hiphop cats, someone could definitely make some great tunes but we can't find one memorable tune from the fifteen tracks. I wonder if the days of UK legends are coming to an end. Dillinja, Adam F, Lemon D, Ed Rush, Roni Size, Trace, Hype..... their names still turn heads but please... one good tune this year.

Cold War files... Red Army Audio Mix

A new crew of 3 dj/producers has dropped us some new cd's. One of the most outstanding recordings of new style tech step we have heard here at the DB headquarters. Let me tell you that I have misplaced the tracklisting but there are many dubs on this mix so you should listen closely. Rumor has it that many of their tunes got picked up recently. If you know wha' gwan then you know who it is.... So peep this mix out and hear some really good drums and if you are a real fan of the Rooskies then you are a fan of Russian whores that you can pick up for a few bucks on the streets of Moscow. Imagine that... some of these whores used to be doctors and PHD's before the cold war ended. Remember Gorby had that bird shit mark on his head? How many of you were old enough to see that old episode of Donohue when he had Russians and Americans on one show live? Or do you remember when the Rooskies used to parade their troops down the street into Red Square? Man WWIII never happenned as we all expected. But now Bush and his boys kadafi, Noriega, and Saddam are getting together these days so look for some new world order.....

DJ Siryn from Hawaii.... Tech stepper to the Diamondhead

Yall need to recognize the troops down in the 808 state. Dope girlies representing... This one is DJ Siryn... Got this cd from Kause down there while puffing a fat joint on Diamondhead before we went up to the radio station KTUH FM and dropped the new N2O dubplates. DJ Siryn is this little cute mysterious chick that throws down some wicked plates. You know neurofunk style. So if this is your style peep this mix. The cd gets a bit distorted in the end but you can get a good listen before that. Who says cd's never skip? Anyway be sure to check out the Waikiki massive down there.

DJ Marky and Craze on Radio One 03.22.02

Today's offering to the DigitalBombing massive is an hour and 22 minutes of clean wholesome fun with the DJs... Marky and Craze. International style? I don't know, I have only left the country like three times. But what we got hear is some DJ from Brazil, Marky, which you all probably know about, and we have already talked about Craze on this site, so you know what is the deal there too. New tracks, cuttin and the usual bidness on the One World Show on Radio One... now back to your irregularly scheduled programming.

DJ Tez from Scotland / Jungle Nation Vol. 1

Everyday I go over to the Digital Bombing PO Box and it is always stuffed with cool new things from around the globe. Many CD's, checks, records, stickers, pictures and some porn every once in a while. So this time the box is massively stuffed. I thought maybe we got that ransom money in cash or we got some kind of explosive devices. But it was stuffed with this jiffy pack of flyers from the land of Scotland from DJ Tez. It appears he is the new Digital Bombing beacon out there alongside producer Sivtech. So here is a mix that Tez sent with the flyers. This guy has DJ'ed with big names such as Goldie, Grooverider, EZ Rollers, Zinc, Kemal, Vadim, Brian Gee, Aphrodite, Fabio, Adam F, J Majik, LTJ, Hype... Well shit that's everyone except for Roni and Dillinja. But peep the mix. He does some scratching so it's good to know the message is being heard. Hopefully he can help spread the word of this site out here. The "Hide U" and "Shake Your Body" tracks are on there mixed real well. Listen up to what is happening in Scotland.

Grooverider on Radio One 02.15.02
Special guests Dillinja & Lemon D

"Stop, hold, inside the zone...rip it as you know..." Grooverider in the session on Radio One dropping exclusive plates from "across the pond". The more melodic style, if you know what I mean, but the key here is the Lemon D and Dillinja interview during the show. They are there to enlighten the listening public about the Valve soundsystem and talk a little bit about Grimey and the new LP. Anyways, they be gettin smokey on the radio..."If you can make a half-decent drum and bass toon, you got the skills to make anything else, any other style of dance music"... Worldwide exclusive...

Precise-From the Land of Freeburning CD

Some action from the land they call Freeburning. The Orange County residents DJ Precise doing a full mix cd for you. Includes tracks you can buy from Freeburning Record Store. More hard grindy tech steppers and an N2O joint in there too. Listen for when Precise mixes it in. Nevermind the movie Orange County. What's up with all the wack movies Hollywood tries to throw on the public? Goes to show you why I banned movies from my life for 10 fucken years. 1990-2000.... Ten years of movies that I choose not to give my money to. So this kid Precise gave me this cd mix at the Craze/R.A.W. night at Respect. I'm still reeling over how bad ass R.A.W. represented. More new stuff coming out daily here at Digital Bombing. Why the hell does GW Bush try to lump North Korea into the whole terrorist campaign? I bet Japan is trying to pull some shit in there somehows since the Japanese don't have any nukes. Where can I get one of those Russian suitcase nuclear bombs?

Plague 54 Minute Cali D&B Mix

Ever have Ecoli or Anthrax or even the Plague? Hopefully not, and if you have, don't be shaking my hand if we ever meet. This LA local DJ Plague sent us a very professional looking cd with a nicely tracked out mix of current dnb. If you listen closely there is a good range or styles within. This is the type of set I enjoy hearing at a club mixed in with a few other style sounds too. Anybody get a clipping of the "Janet Reno passed out at the podium photo"? That looked funny as hell. Nice tracks from beginning to end here Reinforced, some hip hop lyrics over top, grindy Bad Co. style stuff but not too much of it, and real good analog keys with amens underneath. I'd go into track listings but there wasn't one. I'm not big on calling out tracks, I just like to get into the mix. But Plague, if you read this hit the message board up with a track list, people want to know.

Panacea and Cativo Live

Goin wild here with a live mix from Panacea and Cativo recorded last year, but here for your pleasure (and hers) today. Starts out real techlike, then moves in to the harder shit we expect from Panacea. We just saw him over at Respect last Thursday, where he tore shit and had the crowd buckwild... He was on this weird evil techstep/disco vocal hybrid. Sounds better than I described, bugged out shit though. He busted out the Powerbook at the end for some CPUplate pressure.

Here it is, another exciting episode of Grooverider on Radio One, with some dubplate cuts, as usual... so you can keep up with the UK sound. If only the UK can get over their drum and bass inbreeding long enough to get back the flavor that has been lost to these lame "award" ceremonies ("Oh gee, Ed Rush and Optical nominated again?
